人と人を「つなぐ」デザイン
プロジェクト立ち上げの時期から、一貫したデザインにおける統合的ディレクションを手がけました。大学研究者と起業家を結びつける目的をビジュアル面から訴求できるように、アートディレクション、デザインを実施しています。
Since the project’s inception, we have been involved in the integrated direction of the consistent design.We provided art direction and design to visually appeal to the purpose of bringing university researchers and entrepreneurs together.
シンボルとロゴタイプのプロセスと意図について
シンボルデザイン：
研究者と起業家という2つの属性のひとたちを対等な要素としてビジュアル化し、シンボルとして展開しました。2色の要素が編まれる様を表現することで、プロジェクトの目的や理念を表しました。縦横の糸が立体的に見えるように影の部分の形状を切り欠いて表現しています。
ロゴタイプ：
メインのロゴタイプをカタカナと英語表記を検討しました。最終的にグローバル展開も訴求するために英語表記のみのロゴタイプとしています。 英語のロゴタイプは「Raleway ExtraBold Italic」を用い、斜めの角度によってアグレッシブさを、加えてスマートな字形により、モダンな印象を訴求します。
Symbol Design:
We visualized the two attributes of the researcher and the entrepreneur as equal elements and developed them as symbols.We expressed the purpose and philosophy of the project by expressing the way the two-color elements are woven together.The shape of the part of the shadow is expressed by the cutout so that the thread of the warp and weft may look three-dimensional.
Logotype:
We looked at katakana and English for the main logotype. In the end, the logotype is written in English only to appeal to the global market.The English logotype “Raleway ExtraBold Italic” is used to convey a modern impression, with an aggressive slanting angle and smart lettering.
「つなぐ」展開へ向けて
複数回のヒアリングを元にシンボルとロゴタイプを1案に絞り込み、ブラッシュアップを行いました。最終的にスタイルガイドを策定し、初期段階以降にも、統合的なデザインの一貫性を維持するためのガイドラインを共有しています。Webへも同スタイルガイドによって展開し、国内の研究者、起業家へ広くリーチしています。
Based on multiple interviews, we refined the symbol and logotype into a single proposal and brushed it up.We eventually developed a style guide and shared guidelines to maintain an integrated design consistency beyond the initial stages.The style guide is also used on the Web to reach researchers and entrepreneurs across the country.
